Here's a quick overview of the system and how it works and why you need it. It requires either a laptop or a PC running windows. It is currently able to cater for clubs with up to 16 courts max. If your club has more than 16 courts then please let me know via the contact form.
The system is a timer based system, as in each playing period is a pre determined time span (our club uses 12 minute playing periods) or as a game based system, as in each court plays until the game is completed
with queued selections ready to go on court as they become free. Detailed statistics on each player are recorded for each game (both versions) for the duration of club play.
A video overview for each mode can be viewed here
Before you begin you'll need to add the players in your club to the system and give each player a grade between 1 and 10 inclusive to give the system an indication of the standard they play at (doesn't require pinpoint accuracy, near enough is good enough). You can then add in (if you wish) league teams, and select any rules settings other than the default settings that you'd like applied for the selection criteria. This only needs to be done once.
BadBoard Tennis is designed to run unaided all evening (or whenever you have club play). As with the old system you simply add yourself when you arrive and take yourself out when you're leaving.
BadBoard Tennis takes care of everything else, making intelligent playing choices based on our uniquely designed decision engine. So relax and enjoy your stress free play.

BadBoard Tennis is designed to run with minimal input from players all evening (or whenever you have club play). As with the old system you simply add yourself when you arrive and take yourself out when you're leaving.
If it's your turn to pick players for a court, you can manually select them, you can ask the system to suggest a "best" match or you can even ask it to select for you.
